They are not totally necessary, but help give it the right feel. Only other odd ones are in the chorus where the chord progression moves to A5, F5 and D5. ![]() Therefore, I present this in the standard A key, but you can either play it that way, or drop the tuning on your uke half a step on each string to match the record. ![]() A quick look at your chord charts will tell you they are HORRIBLE chords to play on a uke. That is to say, a general pattern of A, F, D, but down half a step so G#, E and C#. I believe the song was recorded in the key of A, but tuned half a step down. Why an 'anti valentine'? Well, not everybody has something to celebrate on 14 February. I wanted on final 'anti valentine' ukulele song to put up before Valentines Day this Friday, and this was the song that got stuck in my head. OK, this one was a bit of a challenge as to how to present it. ![]()
